Guru Network Takes a Snapshot: A Step Towards Mainnet Launch
This process ensures that all user activities and balances are accurately reflected in future airdrops, the new environment, paving the way for a seamless transition to the mainnet.
Guru Network is making considerable progress toward our mainnet debut by moving balances from the previous edition of our testnet to the new version. This transition is critical for network participants, as it provides various benefits as they await the mainnet's launch.
Season 1 Snapshot and Testnet Balances Migration Process
- The snapshot of Guru Season 1 holder activity and tGURU balances was completed on August 1st, marking the conclusion of Season 1 rewards.
- Users can transfer their balances from the Alpha testnet to the Guru Sepolia Testnet through a claim process, which is currently being developed by the Guru Network team. The interface for this transfer will be available at v2.dex.guru, allowing users to move their tGuru balances on a 1-to-1 basis from the old testnet to the new one.
- Season 2 holders can boost their rewards by participating in actions on the Sepolia Testnet, using DexGuru V2, and engaging with ecosystem dApps like Burning Meme and others. The Season 2 snapshot is scheduled to take place before the mainnet launch.
- Data and analytics from the old testnet will remain accessible at scan-alpha.gurunetwork.ai for the foreseeable future, while the new Guru Sepolia Testnet can be accessed at scan.gurunetwork.ai.
This process ensures that all user activities and balances are accurately reflected in future airdrops, the new environment, paving the way for a seamless transition to the mainnet.
Benefits for Participants
- Continuity of User Balances: By migrating balances, users will not lose any of their previous testnet activities. This continuity is vital for maintaining user trust and engagement as the network progresses towards its mainnet launch.
- Enhanced User Experience: The new testnet is designed to improve user interactions and experiences. With the migration, participants can expect a more robust and efficient platform that supports their activities and contributions.
- Airdrop Eligibility: The migration is directly linked to the upcoming airdrop distribution scheduled for late September or October. Users who engage with the network through activities in the new testnet, such as participating in the Burning Meme or DexGuru V2 applications, will earn GURU tokens that will be part of the airdrop. This incentivizes participation and rewards users for their engagement.
- Testing New Features: The new testnet allows participants to test and interact with new features and functionalities being developed within the Guru Network. This not only enhances their experience but also provides valuable feedback to our development team.
- Community Building: The migration process fosters a sense of community among users as they collaborate and engage in various activities. The ongoing competitions and quests, such as those in the Burning Meme application, encourage participation and creativity, further solidifying the network's community.
The migration of balances from the old testnet to the new version is a strategic move by Guru Network that benefits participants significantly. It ensures continuity, enhances user experience, and ties directly into the upcoming airdrop, encouraging active engagement within the community. As the network prepares for its mainnet launch, these developments signal a commitment to providing a seamless and rewarding experience for all users.
