How Users Can Get Rewarded in the Guru Network Ecosystem
Progressive rewards and activity-based incentives for growth and thriving community around Guru Network's decentralized applications.
The Guru Network has introduced an innovative reward mechanism designed to incentivize meaningful engagement and foster long-term growth within its ecosystem. This system, powered by the Ecosystem Chest, distributes weekly rewards to users based on their contributions and activities.

Below is a detailed explanation of how users can participate and get rewarded.
What is the Ecosystem Chest?
The Ecosystem Chest is an on-chain treasury that serves as the primary source of rewards for users. It operates on a weekly cycle (referred to as an epoch), distributing tokens to participants who contribute to the Guru Network's growth and sustainability. These tokens are sourced from the Airdrop Community Pool, which constitutes 20% of the total $GURU token supply.
How Rewards Are Distributed
Weekly Reward Distribution
At the beginning of each epoch, tokens are allocated to the Ecosystem Chest and distributed to users who engage in specific activities, including:
- Completing ecosystem-wide quests.
- Participating in app-specific quests (e.g., within Burning Meme, Miles Deutscher, CrossFi).
- Interacting with Guru-powered applications (e.g., trading automations, AI processors, NFT minting, memecoin launching).
- Conducting marketing activities that promote ecosystem growth.
- Other activities aligned with the network's sustainability goals.
The amount of rewards for ecosystem-wide activities is determined by Core Contributors, while app-specific rewards are managed by the teams running those applications. Any unused rewards from a given epoch roll over to the next cycle.
Initial Mainnet Rewards
When the Guru Network mainnet launches, users will receive initial rewards for logging into the mainnet for the first time. These rewards are designed to incentivize early adoption and recognize contributions made during the testnet phase. The allocation criteria include:
- Ownership of Guru Network NFTs.
- Active participation in testnet activities (e.g., completing quests, testing applications, interacting with Guru AI chatbots).
- Testnet points accumulation.
The exact weight of these criteria is determined by Core Contributors.
Eligibility for Rewards
To qualify for rewards, users must be active members of the Guru Network community. Membership is defined by holding one or more eligible NFTs, such as:
- Guru Season Passes
- Themed Guru NFTs (e.g., Spooky Guru)
- Guru Network DAO NFTs
As the ecosystem evolves, additional NFT collections may be added to this list.
How Rewards Can Be Used
Rewards flow into app-specific operational wallets and can be used within those applications. Transfers out of these wallets are subject to a cooldown period to ensure ecosystem integrity and prevent misuse. The specific mechanisms for using rewards will vary by application and will be introduced at the app level.
Dual Access System: Testnet vs Mainnet
The Guru Network offers two levels of access—Testnet (PointsNet) and Mainnet—each with its own features and incentives:
Mainnet Access
- Operates on the Guru Network mainnet.
- Provides a full user experience with advanced features.
- Rewards are distributed exclusively on the mainnet.
- Access is restricted to community members holding eligible NFTs (e.g., Guru Season Passes).
Testnet (PointsNet) Access
- Open to all users.
- Allows exploration and experimentation with Guru AI chatbots and applications.
- Users earn points for their activities, which can be redeemed to gain mainnet access as a Pro Community Member.
- Features may be limited compared to mainnet applications.
This dual-access system encourages user engagement during the testnet phase while incentivizing migration to the mainnet through exclusive rewards and features.
Why This Matters
The reward mechanism introduced by Guru Network is designed to:
- Encourage meaningful contributions and sustained community engagement.
- Align user behavior with long-term ecosystem growth.
- Provide an accessible entry point via the testnet while rewarding active participation on the mainnet.
By combining token-gated access, progressive rewards, and activity-based incentives, this system ensures balanced growth while fostering a thriving community around Guru Network's decentralized applications.
